R Ashwin's performance against the Australians has impressed
Erapalli Prasanna. "I am happy with the way Ashwin varied his length and pace in the opening two Tests," the spin great said. "It was also good to see him revert to the conventional off-spin delivery as his stock ball, which I thought wasn't the case in the England series.
"Against England, although he was successful, he appeared to have been over-reliant on the carrom ball which in the old days was known as the off-spinner's leg-break with the use of the middle-finger," he said.
